Food Grade Gases

The food industry has special demands on the quality of gases. Food grade gases are defined as gases used as a processing aid and/or additive in order to ensure compliance with standards.

The primary purpose of these applications is to preserve a product’s existing quality. This means that gases are often used at the production stage. Typical applications include freezing and packing, cooling during mixing processes and carbonation of beverages.
